Start with 18g → 28g (1:1.55 ratio) at grind 34–35 on your Encore ESP Pro. Your Ethiopia Yaye shots at grind 33 scored well, and this washed decaf should behave similarly; dial finer in 1–2 clicks if the shot runs faster than 25 seconds, or coarser if it's sluggish. Target 23–26s total time to balance the melon and chocolate notes without the sourness that plagued your recent decaf attempts.
